2026 Favourite British Tennis Player -Round One, Group E

Ok, 6th year of our Favourite British Tennis Player vote. Started in 2020 and been able to run it most years since!

64 players, 48 singles and 16 doubles, 32 men and women each. Divided into 8 groups of 8.

Top 3 from each group plus ties go through to the semis

24 + players in the semis, into 3 groups of 8. Top 2 plus ties then progress to the final of 6 + players, from which the Board favourite player in 2025 will be crowned

Reigning champ is Jake Fearnley

Winners in the past are:

2020 - Dan Evans

2021 - not held

2022 - Andy Murray

2023 - Andy Murray

2024 - Heather Watson

2025- Jake Fearnley

VOTE WILL CLOSE WEDNESDAY EVENING AT 8.33PM - IF YOU VOTE PLEASE DO SAY WHO AND WHY AND TRY AND PERSUADE OTHERS TO VOTE FOR YOUR FAVOURITE - THIS IS A NO HOLDS BARRED COMPETITION AND I WILL PROVIDE REGULAR UPDATES. TACTICAL VOTING IS VERY MUCH ALLOWED!

Each group has 4 men and 4 women,  and each group has 3 singles men/women and 1 doubles man/woman. I have allocated by going across and down the rankings lists as of today. Anyone not here wasn't ranked highly enough, I am afraid.

Billy for me. Like Jon, I find Billy's story the most compelling.

I think Katie is safe here so I voted for Neal. The doubles boys need all the support they can get.

Definitely - Neal moved into third spot with that vote!

23 votes now and Katie well ahead of Billy and Neal. I wonder if Katies triumph last week has helped her gain a few votes!

3 1/2 hours left to vote. The groups average around 28 votes in each, last year we got 38 at this stage - so if youve not voted, yet, in some or all of the groups , plenty of chance to influence things before 8.33pm deadline.
