 Yes, they both gained a fair bit in yesterday's rankings - which weren't showing on the ITF site when I first posted - forgot to check this afternoon.

Ranah won 6-2 6-3

Alyssa is not a great French hope but she's not chopped liver - she's only 19, been WR 565 or so, and is the sort of player that Ranah SHOULD be beating with this sort of score (but that's no guarantee that she would)

I only saw 10 mins but it was nice play, particulalry how she closed it out - no wobbles, no errors, a winner on the last shot....

(with new rankings)

 I think it was 4-6 0-6

But still well beaten cry

The bits I saw in the first were very close

No excuse for completely collapsing in the second

 Should take Ranah up to about 700 in the doubles rankings and 650 if they win the SF.
