J100 Latvia

Vincent Fletcher is through to the QFs

Leo Wright lost in R2 to the second seed

Matilda Burns also lost in R2 to the second seed in the girls

Pui Yin Lung won her R1 match but hasn't played R2 yet

All still going in dubs

 

J30 Belgium 

Theo Kraytchev and Josh Wright both lost in their first matches

As did Elizabeth Prangley 

Anna Wright got a BYE, a win and then lost in R3

Nikita Phillips won 2 matches and also lost in R3

Mia Zhou came through qualis, got a MD win, and lost in R2

 

J30 Spain

After the round robin phase, Gabriela P-Lagoda is into the QFs

Top seed, Clarice Ouvarova, got knocked out in the group stage

 

J30 Cameroon

A diminshed draw size sees Charlotte Perks directly in the QFs, and Naimah Grant also, after one win

 

J30 Austria

Annabel Fletcher and Klara Sehnalova are both through to R2

Harry Emmett lost in R1

 

J30 Serbia 

Theo Holmes lost in R1 but got a win in dubs

Bella Relton has 2 wins and is in R3

It is the third Super Category event for the under 14s - the 32ª Taça Internacional Maia Jovem in Portugal. Max Hodkinson and Pekko Pfundstein lost in round 1 and Isabella Rebel unfortunately retired in round 2, but second seed Liam Sharkey is through to the quarter-finals.

In Portugal Liam comes through in straights to reach the semis. We don't often sin the Super Category events on clay, but last year Sofia Tatu was the winner here, so there's a chance of a Brit taking home a trophy here for the second year in succession. Liam's semi should be on court 2 around 10am tomorrow BST

Liam paid the price for too many errors going for winners, against a player with a largely defensive mindset, but who occasionally caught Liam out with a surprise sneak into the net or dropshot

Just to note that Max Hodkinson was the only player to take a set off the boys champion in Portugal (Rafael Papoian).
