Could play Gadecki and Preston in the QF

Note - most of these players entered on their singles ranking.

Jodie was on the qualifying list but withdrew so she has yet to play a singles match since her return.

With points to drop, if she doesn't compete and pick up ranking points next week her ranking will fall outside the top 500 although she will have a very much higher protected ranking.

Nice win for Harriet though, 6-2 7-5. Although she made a pigs ear of a *5-2 lead in the second she got there in the end!

 Jodie is at Roehampton today, so presumably not 100% yet

Harriet has a big window over the next 4 months to push up her ranking. Her form for perhaps various reasons was pretty awful during May to August last year ( really from April, post Miami ), picking up significantly and pretty consistently from then on.

Counting ranking points at 20.04.26 = 420 for her WR 172, made up of :
Points added in May to August 2025 : 31
Points added in September to December 2025 : 206
Points added in January to April 2026 :183

That's already 20 points to start her May 2026 points.

If she could carry on in simarish vein to average say 200 for each 4 month period so 600 for the year, well the current WR 125 is on 602 points. Keep it going and go climb back up these rankings, Harriet.
