Good to see Felix in the draw after his recent retirements, and with a very possible French Open qualifying entry though it could be tight. Hopefullly he is good to go.
Toby had a long MTO after turning his right ankle over.
Brancaccio is just about to serve for the match.
When did he do his ankle, steve? In the third set?
I only saw the last 4 points and Toby certainly looked a little down and going through the motions
But he's lost the second before the injury?
He fell when he was taken wide to his forehand at 3-3 in the decider. It was a strange fall, usually when you're taken wide on a clay court you slide more not less. At that point in time, the match was evenly poised, though Brancaccio was playing some great shots but also missing too much.
I hope the injury isn't too serious, but I'd be unsuprised if Toby decides to have a rest week instead of playing in Francavill on Sea.
