The field is extremely strong. My guess is that Dan will get in, but he will need to win two rounds to improve his points total and that will be extremely tough given that he could draw any of the top few seeds early on.
Dyce will need to win a round and that is likely considering the fact that he has been playing on Floridan hardcourts for quite some time now.
Josh Milton may need to qualify. He will need to win a round to improve his total.
I am interested in seeing who Dan will partner in doubles. He could go with Dyce or Milton due to obvious reasons. But given that he has received very little success with British partners in the last few tournaments, I won't mind him partnering someone foreign like Elias, who he has a title with.
Faris Ahazzan is the only British player in the main draw. Akhazzan is still fifteen years of age. He is now based in Bradenton, Florida.
Tomic could run away with the title. But I hope that people like Michon will be able to defeat him. Tomic doesn't have too good a record against people of his own level on their favoured surfaces
Liam is seeded. But the bad news is that he is in the same half as Krueger. Kim is in the other half though.
Jathan Malik, Jonathan Cornish, Lucas Poelman and Farris Gosea are unseeded.
In 14&U:
This is ridiculous! Bernard Tomic decided to play here. He is good enough to win a round in 18s. This really is a step backward. I'd be surprised if anyone in the field came close to taking a set off him. Ashot Khacharyan maybe..... has had great results in Europe this year.
James Marsalek, Ben Davis, Jack Carpenter and Nick Jones are all unseeded. Hopefully Nick is fit at this moment.
