I heard it on PTI, its an american sports show. It comes after he beat Roddick and Hewitt in some exhibition match recently
PTI is a silly sports show for those who don't know it, just two talking heads. I think it is on ESPN2 but I am not sure....I have not watched it for years....in fact the last time I watched it they were talking about English boxers....I still remember they were dogging Bruno & Lewis saying that they only got their title shots as they were English and if they were Americans they would not get the media (hence the fights) that they did by being English. The funny thing is that I can't help thinking that if Lewis was American he would have got a shot at and beat Bowe....
Anyway, enough of that....unless they had a clip of Sampras on PTI saying he wants to play Wimbledon again then I wouldn't believe it.
Well there expertise is the big four of NBA, NHL, MLB and NFL so i can't complain if they don't know about boxing, but one of the prsenters is a friend of sampras
I've read a few articles about it now. Went and looked it up. He said he was curious but said he had nothing to gain by coming back. John Mac was saying he could still beat 99% of the field and has apparently been tryin to persuade Pistol Pete to come back.
On another note, I had NASN for a while and PTI is a great program!

By PTI are we talking about Pardon the Interruption? The show sucks....lol....just my opinion but two sports jocks covering all kinds of sports and gossip....nothing I'd watch....but hey I spent an hour watching the Young Ones on youtube last night so what do I know about cool TV?
If one of the hosts are friends with Pete and he said he is coming back I am happy....I love Pete and feel he could win a round or two, but I am not holding my breath.
NASN is an american sports channel on you can get via sattellite tv, it has all the top american sports programs but for us brits. Its pretty kool but they lost the rights to NFL and NBA so its not that great anymore lol. And young ones is defo kool tv, but i also like PTI
I tihnk it stands for North American Sports Network. Its the stuff the american networks think we'll be interested in but not want to pay for through box office
Yeah, NASN used to be pretty good. Had NBA, NHL then in the summer MLB. I don't have it anymore since they lost NBA, that was one of the main reasons I had it. Like has already been said, they have all the top sports shows, including loads of features on NFL, although no live games. They are all on regular Sky anyway, so that's no big deal. I used to like PTI, never took it really seriously, just a good laugh. Also shows loads of college sports which are always good fun.
Montana, which US Sports are you into and which teams do you support?

WC's will go to Boggo, Bloomers, Baker, Marray and Goodall... don't think there is too much doubt about that being the case
Phillipoussis may get one, simply based on the fact that there isn't that many options, and he has actually done well in his last few tournaments before injury, plus people know who he is
For the other 2, Auckland may have a chance, as may Delgado, based on the fact he always seems to win a round at Wimbledon. I'd wouldn't be too surprised if they gave a WC to Thiemo De Bakker, simply as there is no-one else to give one to and he has the game to trouble players on grass (he served and volleyed last year at junior wimbledon)
For Qualifying? Kasiri, Flanagan, Rushby, Childs, and then a couple of the juniors
Well, they went back on the whole in any case. First they spoke about "winners" and now they have scrapped the play offs - what better thing to instill a winning mentality than a knock out tournament?
I think that Donald Young will get one or at least a qualies one. If that's the case, then it'll be great if he draws Andy in the first round and gets triple bagelled.
Philippoussis and Cilic are probably two others who will be invited.
