disapointing from bloomers there. Niewmeyer is good, but such a score line isnt good.

Niemeyer is hugely underanked tho, he's only down in 300s because he missed 2nd half of 2006 with injury. He made Joplin challenger final in Feb and 3 straight 15K finals in March.

He's got a v good game for fast courts, has done well on grass too I think. Still with Bloomers' serve I would have thought it'd have been closer. Maybe it was just one of those days and his volleying was off.

doh with elseneer out blooms quarter is wid eopen. and i neve have faith in waske so that half is open really.

i aske db4 but why ias elseneer so low now?

Partly through injury, partly because he only won 4 matches from March to the beginning of this year (all of them in the UK), so he simply would not have been picking up any points

He won a challenger at the beginning of 2006 as well, so the 80 points he had there would have fallen off as well, and so he shot down the rankings (he only has 6 tournaments where he has more than 1 ranking point from)
