Cardiff Challenger - 2007 Week 16.

last summer I slept rough on the tarmac of an Italian Service Station overnight.

Nothing but me, my jumper for a pillow and some very odd caterpillars. It was a surreal experience.

Tell me about the caterpillars. I'm fond of my butterflies and moths....

they were straight out of the Big Hungry Caterpillar book.

Green and with rings round them like the Michelin man. Also had red features and genuinely seemed to get bigger through the night

I LOVE the Big Hungry Caterpillar!

May I ask why you had to sleep rough in an Italian Service Station?

By the way (slightly off topic I know wink.gif) what time is Boggo playing today?

sounds a bit like my night on the floor of the 24hr Tescos cafe near Felixstowe last July during the 15K there....was a bit surreal sleeping between the cardboard menus and hearing supply people come and go throughout the night.

how did you end up on the tarmac of an Italian service station ? missed the coach/plane ? I gather your wife wasn't with you ?? biggrin.gif

it was the end of a cul de sac i should point out, so minimal chance of getting run over, although i was fairly intoxicated at the time so that point didnt conciously cross my mind at the time.

I end up sleeping in open fields around once every month.

Driving from Wirral to Albania with some mates. Service station much cheaper than hotel but too hot to stay in the vehicle...

Tennis is so boring - let's continue with this. This is a semi final, so Boggo will have to win it.
