That's just what I was thinking Bet Bloomers is really happy that Waske will be waiting in the semis in the unlikely event that he gets past Tsonga in the first place!

Who is Dmitri Winderickx and why has the lta given him a qualies wildcard? And (probably a question for our resident linguist Steven) how do you pronouce his name?
Veendairicks, I think, possibly Vaindairicks with a thick Flemish accent. The ckx is easier than it looks - think Eddy Merckx, the cyclist.

Meffert's ranked 345 but has been low 200s and he gave Boggo a v tough match in Sunderland last year. However, he mustn't be in great form to be pushed that close by Tom Knights. Meffert serves big and has a great forehand but his 2nd serve is very attackable. Jim needs to hang in there and try and take chances in the breakers

May has a chance due to his big serve, but he probably can't afford any of the lapses that have creeped into his game before, as when I saw him play, he got tight at the business end of the set, and starting throwing in 2 or 3 double faults in the game
Didnt realise this until earlier, but Boggo is actually playing the defending champion here, so I guess that makes his match a little bit tougher than we thought... Boggo should still win though
