J Goodall (GB) bt A Jones (Aus)(7) 7-6, 4-6, 6-3

Fantastic win for Goodall, draw really opens up now for him to make quarters. Corrie and Smethurst did well to take that no of games off their opponents...didn't think the Smethurst one would be anything like as close

Good win for Josh, and he really should make the QF's now, but whether he goes any further will probably depend on whether Boggo wins tomorrow.

Decent showings from Smethurst and Corrie, and they did better than expected

In the doubles, Corrie and May beat Bloomers and Childs 4-6, 7-6 (7), 10-6, and Flanagan and Rushby beat Goodall and Hutchins 4-6, 7-6 (6), 17-15

Those doubles results are not what was expected.

Still should help boost Jim May up towards some of the others!
