probably 3 or 4 more times today, a dozen tomorrow and every other time the subject comes up for the rest of your life because unless you're from Teeside no one knows how to spell it
Who is Skupsi and how come he gets to play Liverpool each year and does well....sorry just don't know much about him and wonder why with his talent he did not do more during his career?

GB on a shirt, Davis Cup still gleaming, 79 years of hurt, never stopped us dreaming ... 29/11/2015 that dream came true!
Doug, Skupski is from Liverpool and hence plays there every year.
Thornley has the worst draw possible. If nothing else, the experience will be very good for him.
Baker should beat Smethurst comfortably, but hopefully he'll take a few games off him.
Gimelstob struggled in a match he should have won by 2 and 1, so maybe Flanagan has an outside chance.
Wonder if Skupski can play like he did against Ferrer once again... He'll have a good chance if he does that.
Cox has never played someone ranked so high, so it'll be a good test for him. Goodall and Dan know each other well as they both train in Roehampton. Goodall is obviously the favourite by miles but hopefully Cox will be able to come out with some positives.
Evans's match is equally tough which is a shame as he got his best ever win in the first round. Since he is sort of a home boy, all his coaches will probably be watching this. Hopefully he'll take some games off Jonny.
goldenboy wrote:I agree that it is an excellent draw for Alex - a clay couter ranked around 60, and Hrbaty as a probable second round opponent. Hrbaty is ranked 33, but has won few matches in the last 3 months. Alex really needs to win a consecutive matches in these high level tournaments if he is going to rack up those ranking points. Unfortunately for Al, he excellent effort at Queens only netted 20 points as it is 56 draw. First round win at Nottinbgham would only be 15, but winning two matched would net 40 which would make a real difference to his ranking. I remember that he was not particularly fortunate with draws last year, lets see if he can make hay this time....
thats one of the best r1 draws boggo could have hoped for, but 2nd round would be a tough one. however, if he plays like he did this week, then he has a chance of making the quarters, and hopefully coming up against tim! would also say that the surface suits him a bit better in notts than queens.
a win both here and wimbledon may see boggo sneak into the top 100, for a week at least!
i don't think its a terrible draw for bloomers - bjorkman is starting to feel his age with the singles i think, though has pedigree at notts so would still be the favourite.
shame the qualies are moving indoors - bit unnecessary i think this early in the week - still got 2 full days and could always stretch into monday - but there you go!
