He's just won his service game but still down a break...

Not totally keyed up on his game, but does anyone think it will be suited to grass, considering he trains mostly on clay?

Wow :jawdrop @ Eaton and May already through and Irwin up a set!

Ward can play on grass but isn;t completely at home and Soeda is a good fast court player. Took a tiebreak off Federer last year if I remember right. Or was that another Japanese player....?

He is! He is ranked 200 something now..after a pretty long injury lay off [his highest ranking was just outside the top 100...102 or something]. I think it was his S&V tactics that really threw Fed that night...

Good job by James...playing his best stuff at the most crucial time..
