The Dearth of Futures Success

2004 and 2005 look a bit out of place in that list though. As someone said its like new generation this year though. Who knows maybe next year we will have another 20+ year. We have got a great crop of 17/18/19 years old who look like great prospects.

He is playing quite a bit of NCL tennis, I see (I hadn't heard of him as he was before my time).

Week 33 Update : All Brits in qualies for this week are out and its not even Monday.

We have got David Brewer (Ger F13) and Ed Seator (Poland F6) in main draws this week.

Hard working talented players but unlikely to worry the top seeds I fear.

Is Kasiri playing the Russian futures this week? He was on the entry list wasn't he?

Interesting that as we have increased our tournaments we have stopped winning them.

I do think it will move up again in the next couple of years

Thought I'd update this table.  Looking much better for GBR. smile
One more title (go Bloomers) and we're level with the Americans this year (er.. and the Belgians).

Oddly the Italians are top this year so far, with the Spanish down in 5th.
