c) Jade Curtis: Jade won a G3 in the States without dropping a set and then the next week, qualified and reached the final of the prestigious Canadian Open, a G1 which is the main warm-up for the US Open
d) David Rice: Rice picked up another ranking pt in Wrexham 15K before taking a set 6-2 off world no 204 Rob Smeets in the last 16. Made quarters of the nationals and then reached semis of the Canadian Open G1 beating world no 6 Stephane Piro in straights
e) Naomi Broady: Was largely untroubled in winning the nationals and also made the quarters of Hampstead 10K, coming within a point of the last 4.
