No news yet but I think Mel will more than likely play Gagliardi? but I could be wrong!! The site has updated some results but not Anne's so yeah it could be a secret?!! Having spent time in India at various tournaments I'm not surprised at the technical difficulties!!! lol

I agree!!! Why did Bally not come here? I thought it was a crazy idea for her to play Dubai last week but thought she may play here, any news as to why she didn't?

Anne won - not sure what the score was but im guessing 0-6 6-4 6-4 & she plays Debbrich Feys (Bel) next, feys beat Niculescu but not sure what the score was! Mel plays Szatmari (Rou) who has lost to players such as Julia Bone & Sarah Coles in the past! She is a clay courter by all accounts, so fingers crossed Mel & can get the win here!!

The pdf says South v Szatmari and (7) Keothavong v (3) Niculescu, with both Brits having come from a set down (Katie a 10-8 t/b loss and Anne a bagel, so in different ways, both showed a lot of character to come through in the end) and scored 10 ranking points so far.
If this is correct, then if Johansson beats Bachmann, Anne will be first in line for a LL place even if she loses in the FQR.

The completed matches for Sunday on the live score says Niculescu won as well. I can't work out why it says Niculescu or Feys v Keothavong was going to be second match on one of the courts today when it clearly wasn't ... or am I missing something?
Even stranger, the OoP for Sunday (possibly it means Monday) says Johansson v Szatmari. who aren't even in the same section of the qualifying draw!
