ATP draw sheet shows this as E30K (no +H) which is $47.5k (Is this near enough to $50K ?)
With 55 points shown for the winner it makes it either $50k or $35k+H so perhaps this title is correct if $ sign was added but then it would disagree with the drawsheets.
The Euro/$ equivalents were set at the start of the year, with $50K equivalent to 42.5K and $35K equivalent to 30K, so this must be a $35K+H/30K+H. If you look at the ATP Challengers page, they seem to have given up putting +H on anything (since I'm sure at least one of the other Challengers this week must be a +H in reality)., which really is confusing.
I'll change the title to 30K+H, though I think most of us only really care what the points are anyway, and that's clear enough.

KFP/BT: It's definitely worth a try. Usually very few players in the 290-300+ range bother to enter qualifying, so it may well be that the cuts KFP quoted were only one or two players out from getting down to Jonny's PR level.
BT: Me too, I'm not saying I expect Bloomers to win, but it would be a pleasant surprise rather if he did, not a complete shock. Still, as Mike has pointed out, with the way Smeets plays, there's a long way to go yet!

Nice one Richard, good win - not totally unexpected though as Smeets hasn't looked all that impressive whilst Richard showed the experience and variety that he possesses against Eaton yesterday.
Excellent, that's Richard back into the top 320 (I'm actually estimating 310), just 2 points behind Slabba and, coincidentally, on the same number of points as Jamie B will be on when his Lexington points come off.
He's now the third top-scoring Brit in 2008 behind Muzza and Boggo - quite a turnaround from a couple of months ago when it looked like he was sliding into singles oblivion!
Just wondering if he or Josh will have got an SE into anywhere. Itcould only be Penza or a clay court Challenger, so I'm guessing not.

Great win for Bloomers today, and great to see him back in a semi final, and if they can get back on the grass then he's got an even better chance of beating Beck, who still looks to be in great form this week.
Hope he can steal another win here and have a chance at sneaking into the US Open qualies, but he's already had a brilliant week as he was match point down in the first round.
(if he's on the same points as Baker next week when his points come off... then surely that means Baker is likely to miss the US Open cut as well unless he does something big next week, which is something none of us have seen coming, or am I wrong here?)
Doubt Bloomers will have taken the SE into Penza, and I'm sure he isn't playing on the clay, nor will he be dropping down to a futures (which he could use the SE for), so probably a week off for him before going to the USA, which I think was the original plan.
Yes, I'm sure you're right about that - he no doubt needs the week off after this.
Bloomers has 5 points coming off next week, so the position as far as ranking points go before any points get added on next week (see the top 25 table for week 30) is:
223 Boggo - definitely in qualifying 147 Josh - definitely in qualifying 118 Slabba 116 Jamie 111 Bloomers
After next week, none of them have any points coming off until the second half of August.
At the moment, players need 135 points for 275th (= virtually certain to get in), 125 for the 290-295 range (= a fair chance of getting in), 120 for Jonny Marray's PR level, i.e. 303rd (= a very outside chance of getting in) - see KFP's cutoffs for past years below.
It looks like they only have this coming week to get the points they need.
