good week for evo again... if only he could still have wcs during this period because he would be due a sh.i.t load!!
good effort from watling hes playing really well at the moment must have a lot of confo!
Sorry to bore people ( ), but here are the doubles results:
Brewer & Flan march on: they beat Bayet & Burquier 3 & 4 & play Daniell & Reix in the SFs after they beat Bradshaw & Kinsella 7-6(4) 6-2! That man Daniell is fast becoming a regular pain in the @rse!
Whether Salmon likes it or not ( ), Bains & Evans also march on: they beat Chaudry & El Menshawy 5 & 2 & will face Brassington & Brooklyn in the other SF after they accounted for Corrie & Fleming ( ) 7-6(9) 4-6 [11-9] (what a ding-dong battle that looks to have been! ).
I bet Flan disappears for months again after shovelling up all the points
The really sad result is Bam Bam's loss though - it's his second retirement in his last three tournaments. Also means we don't have a guaranteed finalist of course - an Illingworth v Bam Bam semi would have been nice.

Good wins for Evans and Flanagan, but Daniell is starting to worry me, and if he gets to the final from the bottom half it will be a nightmare as he'll have destroyed all the Brits... hope Bamford is okay and nothing serious wrong with him.
Flanagan looks to be on form and interested this week, and hope he reaches the final now, as it may convince him to try and play a bit more often than he does, and Evans has really found his form since the suspension... looks to have done him the world of good and forced him to concentrate on his tennis, and back-to-back semi's is good news.
Reix is beatable... he's a decent player but Evans can beat him if he plays to his best level...
So, is that 4 points for reaching the semi's? Do all futures events award the same number of points? I ask because I see Myles Blake has got 3 points for reaching the QFs in Tehran.
