Sorry I edited it, the guy was saying he presumed it was Georgie because she was speaking perfect english and not Thorpe who is French.

Piedade def Brozde 6-1 6-0

Thyssen also won - I don't know the scoreline.......

If Stoop wins she will play Piedade in the semi final.

Well done Georgie - another good week. The rule of thumb which is often applied for serious injuries is that if you are out for x months then it is another x months before you regain your top form. Georgie seems to be bearing this out 6 months after her return, following an initial abortive attempt, from 6 months out last year.
