Well done to Evans on reaching the semi finals, and he's on fire as of late, and another chance of a title here, and back-to-back titles would certainly give him a lot of confidence and a few ranking points as well.
He's got to be looking at 500 by the end of the year as his target now, which should be achievable at this rate.
And that doubles scores looks suspicially like a 'we'll start the match so we get the prize-money from the event but I've got another event to play in abroad next week so I better tank here to make it in time for the qualifying cut' retirement...
Did Evo have to play 3 matches today, 1 singles and two doubles? Is so, is he going to have anything left in the tank to play and win again tomorrow in the semis?
BIDMEADE, David / CAMPBELL, Luke or DANILOVIC, Daniel / SHAMASDIN, Adil [2]
Er, I thought I'd already made that clear on the previous page!
Not saying you didnt. Please dont be defensive.
As we have said in previous threads...in certain long / well viewed threads where there are lots of pages it is good to recap on scores / matches to be played.
A lot of casual visitors go to the very end of the thread to the last page to and work back. Its just good practice.
I was not about for several days and was looking for the Boggo score and had to go back several pages before I could find a clear post of the result. A recap on the last page would have made it so much easier.
Dont want folks drifting off to MTF or even the ATP for scores you know !
If Evski wins tomorrow, he'll have raised $ 3340 in the last three weeks (minus taxes and expenditures). With that and the 3.5K Euros he got at Queen's, he's financially quite secure for the next three months.
He may not, but I'd love it if he played abroad before his ban gets over. There are two Futures in Greece and Kolding qualies that he should do if he thinks the money spent will be worth it.
