Dan beat Dan Dan by 76 61 last week, so there's no reason as to why he shouldn't win tomorrow as long as he has something left in the tank.
But he must be terribly tired by now (hopefully not tired enough to lose). Shouldn't get out of bed for two days after this ordeal!
Or even better - get drunk for real this time and extend the ban by four more months. You can trust the LTA to think of a new screw up, now that he's doing well once again.
Then choose an epithet other than "legend" to describe him until he's a few years further down the track & has proved his ability by consistently becoming the winner of more prestigious titles than those gained at mere Futures events & having earned a regular top 10 berth in the rankings!
Depends on what "legend" means to someone. Bart Beks is more of a legend in my books for his never say die attitude (although that's probably assisted by a lot of family fortune) than Richard Gasquet, who should be winning Slams with his talent.
I'll be happy for someone as long as he or she maximises his or her potential. Robert Dee getting a genuine point will bring a far bigger smile on my face than Boggo retiring with a career high of 98. Just because I think Alex is capable of much more than that...
Just my opinion, you may think something completely different.

I'm hoping you had your tongue firmly planted in your cheek when you posted this? I've nothing against Dan Evans but your constant bulling him up after he made another "mistake" is beginning to irk. If the measures taken by the LTA have hit home and his newly found dedication is a result, then good for them.
No, I've said for a year or so the LTA make don't help our top players and now my suspicions are coming true (at least for the time being). So forgive me for gloating a little bit... I know it's childish and I'll stop soon after the USO as long as the schedules make enough sense from then on.
Yes, Dan made a mistake and yes, the punishment was fair. But the mistake was the best thing that could happen to his career and I'm glad it happened. I'd much rather have him suffering bad press now than not fulfilling his potential later on - something which would have been more probably if he hadn't got these results in the very near future.
Another good win for Evans, and it shows the progress he's made in the last couple of weeks that we will now be disappointed if he doesn't win back-to-back futures, something that would have been unthinkable a month or so ago.
I think Evans may try and have ago abroad at some point this season, just because there won't be enough UK events around for him, although I'd expect he'd only play in the one's that he could get to without too much difficulty, so somewhere like Greece may cost too much, but a week or 2 in Holland wouldn't be so costly for instance, but harder to get points.
(and he hasn't quite got all that money you stated, he lost quite a bit of what he won at Queen's in fines for ball abuse, as at least once, if not more he hit a ball out of the stadium)
well done evo, dont think he will win tomoro but no doubt he will give it a bash!
Why shouldn't he win tomorrow? He's beaten Feaver and Lejnieks on his way to the final, both ranked higher than Danilovic.
just based my comment on the fact dan is so young and is more likely to suffer from fatigue. Plus i would expect Evo to beat Feaver despite his high ranking!
I personally think that without lta intervention then Dan wouldn't be playing as well as he is, definately out to prove a point. TBH kudos to the LTA for punishing Evo, because it has had the desired effect, for once the LTA have made a correct decision and it is the time to applaude them rather then ridicule previous mistakes.
Dan Smethurst was also banned for 2 months, it hasn't had the same effect as Mr Evans though. They have different talent of course but the point I am making is it was not the punishmenst that were important, but the reactions to it. Dan Evans has been top drawer.

Why was SMethurst allowed to plays the nationals and Evo not then, thats slightly confusing!

You bet your sweet life I do!
"Legend" - one definition (Collins): "a person whose fame or notoriety makes him a source of exaggerated or romanticised tales or exploits"! Is that really how you see Evo, given his well-documented predilection for nights on the tiles on the evening before key matches? How can you possibly claim that Dan (or even Rob Dee or Boggo, for that matter) has "maximised his potential" when none of them has so far attained/maintained a status within the tennis ranks which would guarantee him a place in the consciousness of the public at large? Unless Dan has genuinely put the "lager lout" nights out behind him, I fear he is doomed to live out his professional days as a "Jack the lad" & the last person on whom the team can rely!
