5th-6th play-offs

(1) Czech Republic d. Great Britain 2-1

Beth won 6-3 6-1 (against TE 6 Liasovska)
Katy lost 6-3 1-6 6-1 (against TE 5 Rohanova)
Katy/Beth lost 6-2 6-2

Belgium (who beat us on day 1) went on to upset the favourites Russia in the final

I think they did very well. They lost to Czech Republic twice but they competed well, with Askew beating Liasovska and Dunne coming close against Rohanova. And to think we also lost to the eventual champs, Belgium, in the quarters.
