Nice one, Ross & Jordan! Minimum of 90 points/$12,650 in the bag. Damm & Lindstedt in the QF...
Only in the round of 16 I'm afraid SC, but still yet another decent win for Ross to add to his growing repertoire.
With Jamie's ranking below 50 now the conclusion to an interesting sub-plot is about to reach a climax I feel. The whole Andy/Ross/Jamie triangle could come to a head at the Monte Carlo masters where maybe Ross and definately Jamie need to partner him to get in the draw, although Ross might get in without Andy if he has a good run here and/or gets a partner like Kerr with a lightly higher ranking (Stephen Huss is in R2 as well so a big run here for him would help greatly).
Ross and Kerr should be on shortly as the match before has just finished. Already today the 7th seeds Jeff Coetzee & Wesley Moodie have lost to the in-form pairing of Max Mirnyi & Andy Ram 7-6(4), 3-6, 10-8 meaning their are no seeds left in the bottom half where Ross is. In the top half Ross' normal partner Stephen Huss & Ashley Fisher have beaten Travis Parrot & Fillip Polasek 7-6(3), 7-6(4) to move into the QFs which is all good for the combined ranking of Huss and Ross.
