Cerretani and Norman are a decent enough pair but should be the kind of match that Huss and Hutchins should be looking to win, especially if they want to move up the rankings a bit more - and the serves of their opponents will be neutralised by the clay.
Beware though of the hottest doubles player in the world in the QF's though in Mardy Fish... he's only won 14 matches in a row!!!
Second match on Court 3 today, after the all-American singles encounter between Isner & Russell, which kicks off at 16.00 BST.
FD: know what you mean about Mardy Fish, but he & Blake struggled a little bit to overcome the Yankee WCs, Delic & Kendrick, yesterday, 4-6 6-4 [10-7]!
An immediate double handed C/N the initiative, but H+H eventually retrieved the minibreak to make it 5-5 in the tiebreak, then saved a matchpoint on serve before conceding another minibreak for 6-7
Looks to have been a chance missed for H+H against a pair who aren't anything special, and especially with the amount of chances they seemed to have throughout the match, wasting 13 break points.
Hopefully though it was just as they haven't played together for a while and their first match on clay and they can recover and have a good clay season together.
