I'd love to see them at the O2 arena at the end of 2011. I think that would be an excellent target.
Wouldn't that be cool! As to whether it's doable, the team currently in 8th place (Mertinak & Cermak) are WR 21 and 22 respectively. At first sight, it seems odd that Fyrstenberg/Matkowski are below them in the race when they are ranked ranked 11 & 12, but the former's points all come from 2009 tournaments whereas the Poles have semi-final points from both Paris AMS and TMC to drop off before the final eight are decided.
So, the criteria seem to be a top 25 finish for both players and for them to have got (virtually) all of their points in that same partnership, so they'd have to take out Jamie and Ross's CHs (27 and 30 respectively) but not by much.

Erlich & Ram v Andreev & Youzhny is not on today's OoP ( both Andreev and Youzhny have L16 singles matches ) so I assume the guys will have a day off tomorrow and their semi will be on Saturday.
An interesting development in the singles which could have an impact on Flemski's half of the draw: Denis Istomin has just beaten Mikhail Youzhny by 6-2 6-1 retired in the singles! If Youzhny's badly crocked, I assume he'll withdraw from the doubles & Erlich & Ram will get a walkover, so the semi could well be played tomorrow.
In the bottom half, Chardy & Gasquet have seen off Friedl & Levinsky (who put out the second seeds, Brunstrom & JJR in round 1) by 5 & 2.

Nothing on tomorrow's OoP for our boys, nor for Erlich & Ram, which makes me think they will have a w.o. Drawsheet hasn't been updated yet, either. The other SF is to be played, where Chardy & Gasket will play WC, Elgin and Gabashvili. The latter having run out easy winners against Cerretani & Skoch, 6-3 6-2.

That should have read Istomin won by 6-2 2-1 retired! Clearly not my day today!
Drawsheet now updated to show Erlich & Ram do indeed have a W/O.
Still not on OoP for tomorrow, so as things stand it's the guys v Erlich & Ram on Saturday, though doesn't seem any reason now not to play this semi on Friday too
Maybe Flemski had already arranged sightseeing for tomorrow
Tomorrow's OoP now up. Col & Ken do indeed have a day off tomorrow: the Elgin/Gabashvili vs Chardy/Gasquet SF will be the first match to be played, followed by the four singles QFs...!
If Col & Ken do manage to get the better of Erlich & Ram tomorrow, they will face Chardy & Gasquet in the final: they beat Elgin & Gabashvili by 7-6(3) 6-1 this morning & have yet to drop a set, so they'll be no pushover!
