Most of the male players still here watching, no sign of Inglot though. On womens side Anna is here today, Ews watching too. Haven't seen Jade today but she's been here the past 2 days.
Ah, you thought I meant which players are there ... I meant who's there texting you the scores! Are you actually there in person and still managing to write this much? Impressive ...
Btw do you know who won the non-Brit matches, i.e. Sijsling v Capkovic, Kontinen v King and Walter v Martin? (they're all possible opponents for Brits in R2)
The joys of an iPhone.

Because picking up your first point is a bit of a lottery. Davis got his by getting a WC in Newcastle last year and then having Vanni retire from their R1 match when the Italian was a set up. Davis 'celebrated' by getting double bagelled by Dan Cox in the next round.
Oliver Golding was similarly lucky - also in Newcastle, he qualified and then drew a home WC, Richard Gabb, in R1.
That's not to denigrate Ollie's ranking point (he did at least have to work a fair bit for his!), but compare that to Matthew Short, who has just won four rounds of qualifying in Albufeira, including beating a top 1000 player, but still won't get a ranking point unless he wins another match!
Priddle has clearly got a taste for ranking points now - he's gone from 0 to 3 in just a few weeks!

A pity our two highest-ranked players left have to meet this early, though it's hard to think of Josh as the second best Brit left in given his recent form. Maybe he'll spring a surprise tomorrow though.
