Lol, opps. i was trying to say the i think players who win a lot of future titles probably wont win that many at challenger level as if you are winning futures you're not winning challengers.
the same as some of the players who won loads of challengers probably dont win many ATP's.

I doubt that players with top 100 potential ever win more than half a dozen Futures before moving on to bigger and better things unless there are special circumstances - e.g. from that list of top Futures winners, Stéphane Robert cleaned up on the Futures circuit once, moved up to Challengers for a while then got injured and eventually had to work his way up through Futures again.

The only result that surprises me there is Danny boys. I arrived too late to see his match yesterday but going on the scoreline I would have expected him to win today. George did not particularly impress me yesterday and Alex was up against the man in form. Burnham played a long hard match yesterday but as far as I know did not pick up an injury in that match.
QF: Josh GOODALL (GBR) (1) v Ludovic WALTER (FRA) (6) QF: Thomas CAZES-CARRERE (FRA) v Mathieu RODRIGUES (FRA) (5) QF: Ignacio COLL-RIUDAVETS (ESP) (8) v Matthew ILLINGWORTH (GBR) QF: Gerard GRANOLLERS-PUJOL (ESP) (7) v Eric PRODON (FRA) (2)
I was quite impressed with Sean yesterday. Not blessed with huge power on his groundstrokes but makes up for it by moving well and hustling to retrieve balls back into court. Plays quite an intelligent game as well. Apparently Sean has lost alot of weight and that is probably the main reason for his improved form this year.

Smethy obviously had an off day! I am pleased Josh got the better of O'Brien. I thought it was a match which could have gone either way. The Irishmen is a steady player, which is not something you could really say about Josh. He has a tendency to go for his shots and on clay that can be unwise. I think he should beat Walter in the next round, but you never know. Rodrigues may be his nemesis in the next though. I can't really see past Prodon for the title . I take it the tournament is being played on green clay, as opposed to red?
