Having fallen asleep on the couch and then woken a little while ago and and come on here...

I see that at 4.55 am  ( 11.55 pm local time ! )  Lopez has won the first game of the second set vs Nadal.  Nadal won the first set 6 - 3 and they've only been going 43 minutes.

Wawrinka, Venus Williams and Clijsters took just under 4 1/2 hours, 2 hours and 2 hours to complete their respective wins  hmm.gif

I can't see anybody other than Nadal winning this title, in fact its probably worth a bet. Imperious last night and hasn't dropped his serve yet.

Good match that final, set 3 contained the highest quality tennis I have ever seen. Novak showed what you need to do to upset the big boys and win a GS, be AGGRESSIVE. I know he didn't quite do it but what an effort, Nadal was simply too good, putting up an unbelievable performance in this GS. Assuming he stays fit, watch out Fed your GS record is in Jeopardy.
