He's still in the doubles with Jamie, playing today 4ish. Personally, I find that just as 'exciting' as following his singles matches. Just maybe, Valencia was 'all about the doubles' for these guys this time. Unfortunately I won't be able to follow it on live score, so any commentary would be much appreciated  winkwink

If there is, Julia, you will find it under the "British men" section.

Andy tweeted

"Not a great day at the office today, monaco played well, going to get a few good nights sleep in before paris last week has been hectic!! Ha"

Gives the impression that he wasn't overly bothered about this week and that his preparation wasn't great.

I don't think he really cares much about anything other than Grand Slams or Masters Series events any more. At best he seems to view smaller events as being for preparation and experimentation.

Dubai saw him play a bizarre match against Tipsarevic, he was poor at Queens, very erratic in LA and played very poor matches to lose in Beijing and Valencia.

Hard training week last week? Surely he was at his brother's wedding?

All I can say is, just as well he has no more brothers to get married!

Has anybody ever told him that whacking his racquet on his shoes doesn't do the strings much good?

Ah well, Paris next week is more important - and more important still is the WTF. Fingers crossed.

Ha, just looked at Andy's twitter. Knew I hadn't imagined it.  Though looking at these two tweets, the big training week seems to have been a few days practice with Conor Niland then up to Scotland for Jamie's wedding  ( which I had forgotten about )  smile

Great Sunday, hit with my bro, watched stoke man u then man city arsenal and indian for dinner! Big training week starting tomorrow   ( Oct 24th )

Had good few days practice with irelands number 1 conor niland, off up to scotland for my bros wedding now! First wedding for me   ( Oct 27th )
