So its Rodina in the quarters, I don't think it makes much of a difference as Oudin has been in a major slump for a long time. Rodina was a convincing winner the last time they played on the green clay, but our Hev has improved so much since then that I make this 50/50.
So Oudin bites the dust then and fails to live up to the bookies' and my expectations. Looking now more into Rodina's recent record I must admit that knowing that, which isn't great, I would certainly still have taken Oudin to win that round.
As I said earlier although Oudin had lost an awful lot she wasn't losing to really lower ranked players, so I still don't think she was an unreasonable shout in theory. But I suppose one thing is that losing so much in itself may now be sapping some confidence in her game. She's not getting a hell of a lot of match practice either ! Maybe these are things to be factored in
Anyway, I hope Phil was off selling Oudin on the betting exchanges !
Now real chance for Heather to progress further although I'll maybe not make any judgements for now about favouritism.

The bookies make Heather slight underdog for todays match, and the key for Heather's success today for me will be her first serve. It desserted her after the first set yesterday and a repeat of that will probably see her lose this match.
