"Recovered well today to win against a tricky opponent who knows how to play on grass. It's been a while since I last won 3 matches in a row ['editor's note': Vigo 25K last July/August] I'm blaming loss of 1st 4 games on my preoccupation with swatting flies. Insect repellent is coming out in full force before my next match."

SF: (2) Katie O'Brien WR 218 v Isabella Holland (AUS) WR 335

Katie is now the only seed left in the draw.

Will we get a poem if Katie wins ? wink

Not exactly Byron-esque, but it'll have to do unless someone can come up with a better one. ashamed

There was a young player called Katie
Whose forehand could sometimes be weighty
Serve could do with more bite
But she knew how to fight
So she once nearly cracked the top eighty

If any of you can't sleep tonight it looks like live scores for Katie's match will be on bet365 at about 12:30... I suspect that one of Katie's matches is not recommended for insomnia though...  worry.gif
