A very interesting men's list for Bath with 9 of the 13 top Brits, well 9 of the next 11 after Muzza and James. A mix of the older and the younger with maybe some points to prove.
I wouldn't be surprised if the loser of that one qualifying match gets in as a LL.
LOL yes, nor would I! I'm not absolutely sure whether the players who qualify without playing any matches get the 5 points for qualifying, but I assume they do. The ATP rules say that you don't get QR2 points, if they're on offer, if you lose in QR2 after having a bye in QR1, but (perhaps not surprisingly) they don't seem to have considered the possibility of players qualifying for a Challenger without playing a match.

The Guadeloupe super-Challenger (which must be a replacement for Sunrise) had nobody in qualifying at all and 8 byes in R1 of the main draw ... and it's a 100K!
Not necessarily easy points though, since all 8 seeds are in the top 100 and the last DA was WR 356 - which makes me wonder if this event was always intended to be a 24-draw without qualifying in the first place.
Meanwhile, back in Costa Rica, SMC1809 was spot on - the player who lost in qualifying did get a LL place. However, they have ended up with a full 32-player main draw including 3 top 100 players and the last DA was WR 332, so it's not that weak after all, just a case of players thinking (mistakenly as it turned out) that it wasn't worth the trip just to play in qualifying.
