After saving 4 break back points Heather wins 6-4 6-4 to set up a tough FQR match against top seed Tamira Paszek

Fantastic to see Hurricane Hev (:p) consistently putting in good performances in tour events on all surfaces though. If she were to lose to Paszek tommorrow there would certainly be no shame in it. Heather can just relax and put in her all and hopefully claim a top 100 scalp and a place in the MD.

We saw in the aftermath of the McHale match in Charleston ( although it may have been a particular case ) how much it all means to her and how she wants to advance.  Channelled well, that must be good.

Incidentally looks as if Daniilidou didn't have too much of a break after her 3 hours 26 mins Q1 match before she was in in action again for her Q2 match against Shengnan Sun of China.  Fortunately she won that in just one minute over the hour.  Seem to remember seeing similar back to back success from her before.
