What are the chances of Tara getting a QWC for Wimbledon? Or Eastbourne? Presumably she's thereabouts in the rankings? Do players have to be top 250 to be considered nowadays?
If she's in the Eastbourne qualies I'll have to make a point of going on the Saturday.

The players ( theoretically ) have to be WR 250 or better in the 6th June rankings to be considered for a Wimbledon MD WC.
If all 5 of the girls ( over and above Bally and Anne who are Direct Entrants ) that should make that target get WCs, there should then be 3 QWCs available for other Brits. As I said on the Wimbledon WC thread, I do think Lisa and Tara should get two of these ( even with not as good years as they would have hoped for so far, they have picked up more points this year than anyone else outside the top 7 ) with the third between Fitzy and Mel.
These players are very far clear of any other active GB player in the rankings.
To my mind ( if the LTA sticks to its total of 8 for recommendations for GB MD & Q WCs ), one these players misses out on a Wimbledon WC and it sure shouldn't be Tara.

CANNOT WAIT to see Naomi in Wimby MD, her game is always dangerous on grass and if she could just get a decent draw and really relax, she could make some great headlines!
