Hmm, nothing with regards to MD WCs yet this grass court season for Chris Eaton.
I did say recently that i certainly wouldn't be adverse to him getting a WC sometime and I thought this week was the most likely.
Although it's tailed off a little just the last few weeks, partly through apparent injury in Mexico, he's had a good first few months of the year and has proved his worth in the past on grass, which so suits his game. I do think he would be an attraction and indeed might win a match or two.
he's probably not in favour at the LTA quite simply, although the 3&2 loss in QR1 wouldn't have helped his chances. Not sure what Gabb has done to warrant a MDWC though, really what kind of a draw will he need to even have a hope of winning a match?

4 first round losses in my opinion, they dont hit the ball hard enough im afraid :/
Thats not being biased and saying Eaton should have definitely got one, im very concerned about his loss in qualies this week, scoreline was awful to be honest and its hard to argue him getting one after that. That said, he's better than these 4 on grass.
Shame after one of the most solids starts to the year. Im not sure if he'll be in Queens or Nottingham, would presume Notts for dubs as well.

When was Eaton ever a hard hitter aside from his serve?
Well i never said Eaton was a hard hitter but with his style of play he doesnt have to rally from the back for long and can go for broke on a lot of groundstrokes and sneak in.
With all these other players who are hanging around at the back more, yes it is important that they hit the ball hard because if they dont, where do they win their points?
