Having grabbed a C3 ticket online this morning though, I hope Isner-Mahut play the shortest men's match ever this time, so that the one match I really want to see on that court does actually get on!
How do you get tickets online?
The same as people have got Centre Court returns and back row seats in the past, they're just doing it for Court 3 as well this year.
For both CC and C3, returns go on sale at noon two days before the event and the earlier you pick them up on the day, the better the seats you get, while reserved seats (usually the back couple of rows for CC, but I got a row H ticket for C3) go on sale at 9 am the day before.
Returns (for CC, at least) tend to be very scarce and you have to be very fast to get the 'back row' tickets for CC too (though it's not impossible because that's how I got my men's semis ticket last year) but if you go for 'back row' C3 tickets while everyone else is going for CC, it's probably not that hard to get them - it certainly wasn't yesterday.

I am not sure what I was doing wrong then Steven? I tried over and over again for a good half hour from Noon Sunday, and for 45 mins from 9am yesterday trying to get Court 3 tickets without luck. I only wanted one but I tried all combinations availible.
I didn't see anything about choosing the back row, it always just said "best availible". I was a few minutes late trying for the reserved, probably 4 or 5 minutes past 9am. Would that have made the difference, did they sell that quick?

The expected result, but having not seen Katie play for a bit I was impressed by 3 things about her game:
1. Her backhand - Katie hit some blistering backhand returns.
2. Her lobs - She hit a couple of pitch perfect ones which was a nice display of variety.
3. Her fighting spirit - As we all know Katie is a battler, but I was again impressed by how she kept fighting until the end, and I always had the feeling that she felt she could turn the match around (and who knows what would have happened if she had held at 5-5).
shame that she is now taking of retiring, i guess it must be pretty painful to lose to a 40yr old in the 1st rd of wimby. hopefully the team tennis break will allow her to refocus.

She hits the ball really hard and if she could be more consistent, she would have had an excellent chance yesterday. Just feels to me like she's lost her way a bit and needs someone new to come in and refocus her.
Perhaps she can't afford it. When Bally retires, I hope they employ coach Nino full time.
Keothavong v Broady is underway.
Naomi serving well over 100mph and holds comfortably.
Anne saves a break point to hold.
1-1
Conditions a little windy.
Plenty of nerves out there and lots of unforced errors so far.
