Disappointing for Morgan, after losing almost all of his points last week he really needed a good run this week. I suppose the flip side is that at least he avoided losing his ranking altogether.

That must be Corrie's career best win.

A piece of useless information but anyway Coco looked more a heavyweight boxer than a tennis player when I saw him at Notts.

Not be much but yes it is. His previous best win was against Samuel Groth in 2007, Groth was ranked 450 at the time.

Quite surprised by this win because as I said yesterday Corrie v Farquharson was a dreadful match.

QF:  (1) David Rice & Sean Thornley WR 491 defeated Andrew Fitzpatrick & Nathan Rooney UNR by 6-4 7-6(?)

At least, I think they did:  the second set had gone to a tie-break & disappeared off the screen by the time I had a chance to check on progress!

Looking at the OOP for Thursday, the 3 players involved in both singles and doubles (Rice, Goodall & Eaton) are all involved in the 2nd matches so then have to rest before starting doubles. They could all have gone on 1st surely, how mad is that????

What makes it even more dumb is that the weather forecast is currently saying that there will be heavy rain at about 16:00 so you would have thought they would want to get through the matches as quickly as possible.
