It was pretty predictable that if Brianti got the first break, she wouldn't look back after that - such a pity Anne wasn't able to convert her game points in the 6th game.

Brianti is now a break up in the 2nd after 2 more DFs by Anne (now 6-6 on DFs) - 3-6 *1-3

Strangely, there was only one bp in the 2nd set after the 1st set break-fest. It looked like a very competitive match, with lots of games going to deuce, but when the higher-ranked player and/or non-Brit holds after a string of breaks, there never seems to be any way back.

They appear to have found the light switch, 'cos they won the match tie break 10 - 8. Very close, must have been quite exciting for them. smile
