Well played laura to turn it around from being two points from defeat earlier today. Especially good as this was the tournament where she has lost from commanding positions in the final round for the past two years - but right now she seems so much tougher mentally (and physically after coming through two games today).
Petkovic Jie Zheng kimiko date danilidou slone stephens mirjana lucic Schiavone a radwanska mel oudin yakimova bartoli mchale petrova medina garigues ayumi morita zvonareva
Some very good possibilities there. Best ones to draw, imo, are danilidou, oudin, lucic and morita.
I think apart from one obvious one i.e Oudin there are 6 players you defo wouldn't want, but the main thing is she has finally qualified for a US open eventhough 2/17 break points converted is a shocking stat.
Slone Stephens wouldn't be a bad draw (in addition to the above list) - she is strongest on clay.

It wouldn't be a bad draw. But she has done well recently in the american hard court swing. And she will be feeling good with the crowd behind her. Same with Mchale.
