Anne seems to have a good draw.
Joko not so lucky but she is riding high after her 10kl success.
Possibility of Tara V Heather in 2nd rnd seems interesting.
Naomi will need to carry on her US Open quali form. Though I don't know much about Barrios' style.

Tougher field than I was expecting with Anne and heather just seeded 5 and 6.  Not so good that our best two unseeded players ( Naomi and Jo ) got quite high seeds.  I was hoping they might get easier looking tasks in the first round.

Heather's opponent beat Laura 6-1 6-1 a couple of years ago (possibly Laura's heaviest ever defeat?), but I would certainly hope Heather will be able to comfortably avenge that result.

I would wish your hope will come true. However all GERs in (exept one or two) have the power, to win the tournament .Sorry.
(we hope Sarah would do that  confuse)

Therefore, can somebody post the Result after Sarah's match?

Some interim results would also be nice.

Shrewsbury. Great internet connection but my laptop batt not healthy !!!

I will try and give a few updates. All I know at the moment is Lisa lost 1st set, was 2 - 0 up in 2nd then got broken..

Naomi has just started and is 2 - 1 up at mo.
