Schoofs is in her first WTA QF - just a year and a day ago, she was lost a 3-setter to today's other big GB winner, Tara Moore, in the Glasgow 25K final qualifying round!

Interesting that lucky loser Hradecka is in the other bottom half SF, given that beating her is how Anne got into the main draw in the first place.
