There are qualifier slots (with AK H2Hs) against (8) Hantuchová (0-2), Yakimova (0-0), (WC) Minella (2-0) & (WC) Kerber (1-4), though the way Hradecka seemed to collapse after failing to convert those bps in the 2nd set makes me wonder if there's a fifth Q/LL slot created by someone withdrawing, with Hradecka guaranteed to get in as a lucky loser.

For the third tournament in a row, Hantuchova has drawn a qualifier. In Beijing Laura avoided her, last week Anne (LL) avoided her, and she awaits a qualifier again. Wouldn't be surprised if Anne drew her.

Anne was serving, and despite finding an ace at one point got broken to 40

Great to see Anne finding such form, that's WR's 69, 53 and 51 beaten in the last couple of weeks.  Really hope she can win at least a round or two in the main draw and defend some of these 130 semi final points from last year.


Meanwhile in the doubles,  5 - 7   * 1 - 4  .   3 breaks of serve this set,  10 in the match.
