No change to the lineup, for me just about the right call, Anne is still favourite to beat Glushko, and dropping her IMO would send the wrong message.
What wrong message

You would basically be saying to Anne, you've been dropped when she hasn't played that badly. Judy now is telling Anne that we believe in you, and we confidently expect you to get the win aginst Glushko.
We don't know how good or bad Anne has actually played, although on the face of it looks as if she isn't at her best. So a few of us, I think including yourself, have just wondered a bit. And some were thinking about Heather.
I've no problems if Judy just thinks that's the best call for getting the win in this tie.
But I would expect any of the team in Isreal to be interested mainly in one thing, WINNING, and all they would want is that the team is selected for that.
I'm not into keeping a player in just to show belief in them. Keep them in if it's thought to be the right choice for WINNING.
I think its the fact that it would be a tight call as well, and that Judy would like Hev fresh for the doubles.
Yes, Phil, I think it may have been a tight call and the doubles is a consideration, it having gone so well
Just what I can't go with is a player, a 28 yo experienced player at that, being kept in for morale reasons, "we believe in you". Naa, if there's considered to be a better option for WINNING the tie overall you go with that.
I'm pretty sure though that that would be Judy's only interest, so I do assume it's simply a considered verdict on form and taking the doubles into consideration too.
No livestream tomorrow is a bit of a kick in the teeth. There's just something about the energy of this team this week, that makes me think that Austria are going to have to put up one helluva performance to deny us a date in April for a world group playoff match.
Easy to say after we have won three matches, but I have to agree with you that there has been a good energy or team spirit around the team all week. I do think that having a team where all four players are playing every round does help both in conserving energy and generating a good team spirit.
Having said that, Austria will be our toughest opponents yet and as they were in a group of 3, their players will be equally fresh for the tie tomorrow.
Also, does anyone know what time we are playing tomorrow?

I just saw from the end of the first set. Anne did actually look in pretty decent nick although Glushko was in fairly self destruct mode with double faults and continually not getting returns into play.
Hopefully Bally can seal the deal and Peer isn't somehow hugely revitalised.
