Interesting to read the updates that you folk have learn back home.
My immediate reaction after the matches today was that Laura ( or possibly Heather ) should play Arvidsson tomorrow with Anne playing Larsson.
To my mind the second match today was definitely the better quality and I just can't see Bally beating Arvidsson whereas Laura mignt if it just all clicks on the day.
Laura was my immediate preference and I see that Heather won't be a contendor to play it anyway.
Bally was having icepack treatment after her match, which may give them a diplomatic out for putting Laura in if they feel they want it. But to my mind you just play who the situation warrants and that is Laura. She may lose, she may get smashed, but she's the best option for the win.
At least Laura would be first match on, which gives her rest before playing any potential doubles decider. We can hope !
Anne started off on fire, not just breaking to love in the first game, but the way she was striking the ball and then to be down 2 - 1 and 3 - 1 just seemed unjust, though she didn't help with double faults. Think she maybe felt that a bit herself and her performance level dropped latterly in that first set.
It was a pretty decent second set and Anne fought well. I would definitely retain her against Larsson, who to my mind was not on the same level as Arviddson other than a very impressive serve, which hopefully isn't quite as impressive tomorrow.
