RE: Andy's schedule - confirmations and more news

I should also say that it's possible for Andy to play the DC and Indianapolis in the same week, so maybe that's his plans.

The jetlag would hamper his chances of doing well in Indianapolis though.

That's true !

However, if Andy got his rd1 match scheduled for Tuesday, he could still play DC on monday and catch an evening flight to the States.

Thanks for that info. It seems really silly to me, how can the Davis Cup expect top players to compete if their matches are scheduled during ATP tournaments? I realise it's usually not the case for the countries in Euro-Africa zone etc but how can they be expected to commit to Davis Cup if that is the case?

Oh well, rant over! I hope Andy is thinking about playing both. I can't see him not doing Davis Cup

Is there a summary anywhere of possible Tournaments plus dates that Andy might want to attend?  After Wimbers I don't have any info but I'm sure it's scattered round loads of of posts? *LOL*

Quick answer, Tim, is no there isn't!

Wimbledon is weeks 26-27. Ones he is entered for after that:

28 Newport
29 Indianapolis
30 Los Angeles

I think the Davis Cup clashes with one of those.

Ok, amendments to the above:

Delete Jul 17 Indianapolis, playing Davis Cup instead.

Aug 14 Cincinnati Masters
Aug 28 US Open
Sep 25 Bangkok
Oct 02 Tokyo
Oct 16 Madrid
Oct 23 Basel
Oct 30 Paris
Nov 26 Aberdeen Cup

His official website does not mention Washington (July 31) but he is on the entry list. . .
maybe they know he is going to withdraw.

You missed out Toronto masters aswell there and surely he won't miss a masters series event on his favourite surface?
