how come the european master series offer a bigger prize fund than the US?

It depends on the sponsors i think...anyhow the two biggest in terms of prize money are Us tournies - indian wells and miami.... (3 and a bit million i think)

I'm guessing, but maybe the US is US$2.2million, and the European is Euro €2.2million, and it just so happens that Euros are worth more than dollars right now?

Nope....all in US$

(anyways the first two US masters series paid out more...either something to do with sponsorship or maybe different draw size for qualies or sumthin?)
