Rogowska thrashed 3rd seed Brianti 1 & 1 today - I assume because the Italian wasn't 100%, but if not ... scary!
By the way, given the way tonight's matches went (Anne winning the 1st, losing the 2nd by the same score, getting to 5-5 in the 3rd then losing 7-5 as against Hev losing the 1st and winning the 2nd by the same score), the temptation to put a bet on Hev winning 7-5 in the 3rd was huge after Anne finished. Sadly, it was a temptation I resisted.

Hmm, looks a bit of a struggle there for Hev, in cointrast with how she came out the blocks last year in Auckland from match one.
But, yes, may be a bit rusty, eg, she couild have been concentrating more on fitrness work and then her ankle will have certainly been a problem then when she was maybe really wanting to concentrate on finetuning her game.
The match should certainly have done her good anyway, and looks as if she may have to raise her game for Rogowska.
Pretty tough, but it was likely to be pretty tough whatever with the last direct acceptance WR 63.
Begu is the lowest seed, which would sometimes seem best for good progress even if met in R1, but there's not much between the seeds rankingwise and Begu's more than useful.
Zakopalova (CZE) WR 41 or Halep (ROU) WR 47 for the winner, and the other seed in Bally's quarter is (1) Wickmayer (BEL) WR 26.

Hopefully relating to Heather, there's a qualifier vs qualifier match and the other two qualifiers play either Pironkova (BUL) WR 46 or Jie Zheng (CHN) WR 48.
