Naomi wins 6-4 5-7 6-3 - that will take her to a new career high in the mid-180s

Excellent. Surprised that Naomi won a match with so many breaks of serve. I tend to think of her as a player that needs to hold her own serve then hope for a poor service game from her opponent. Wanted to watch Laura but it got too late for me.

Well done to both girls and importantly they've now at least got the Q1 win benevolence 40 points.

Good to hear that Laura was looking so good and no harm in a bit of a jolt to teach her more not to ease off.

Looks as if Naomi's serve was not on full song, it can be a bit variable.  So with the help of a match under her belt and hopefully reasonably benign conditions, she will be hoping that it becomes a stronger asset as the competition gets tougher.

The commentators were saying that it was getting cold and windy during Lauras match, so weather may have played a part in Naomis serve not being 100%

Surprised to see that Floris is 29. Seems to be hitting her best rankings as she gets older, but I honestly dontthink she'll pose too big a threat.

Riske on the other hand is having some decent results at the moment. It's an intriguing matchup with NB

Really? I can't imagine why ... and certainly can't be bothered to look!

Floris lost to Lisa Whybourn in Wimby qualies 2010. Come on Robbo!

Laura & Naomi are the last 2 matches on Court 6, so no streaming but should be on live scores over breakfast.
