Ah pity 

As I have commented before, Naomi has certainly had her share of tight matches in the last few months and against very decently ranked players most of the time.

Since ( and including ) US Open qualifying, she has met 16 top 200 players with 12 of these matches going to 3 sets and TBs in 2 of the remaining 4.  She has won 6 ( four 3 setters ) and lost 10 ( eight 3 setters )

She has won her other 8 matches in this period ( three 3 setters ), not having lost to anyone outside the top 200 since Tamaryn Hendler ( then WR 388 ) at the Bronx in August.
