No good:  the Krauts break again to 15 in the sixth game & consolidate.  Looks like curtains:  *2-5 hmm

But they're still in there fighting, holding their own service in the eighth & breaking to 40 in the ninth game to take the score in the second set to *4-5. wink  Now 5-5*...

Thornley/Rice survived match points at 3-5 and a couple more at 5-6. Good scrapping from the boys!

The second set goes to a tie-break, but the boys can't maintain their momentum:  they lose by 4-6 6-7(5). cry
